تتناول الدراسة مجلة دراسات بيت المقدس ونشأتها منذ ما يزيد عن عشرين عاماً، من حيث تاريخ النشأة والدوافع والأهداف، ومن الأدوات والوسائل. كما تناقش سياسات المجلة التحريرية وشروط النشر بها، وكذلك تسليط الضوء على تميزت به غيرها المجلات والدوريات الأخرى. وتتناول كذلك اهتمامات وأبرز الموضوعات التي تناولتها عبر تاريخها نشأتها وحتى الوقت الحاضر.
